Vermeil is a term used to describe high-quality jewellery that features a thick layer of gold on top of a base metal, Sterling Silver. For jewellery to be classified as vermeil, the gold layer must be at least 2.5 microns thick. However, La Lune takes it a step further by ensuring a remarkable 4-micron thickness, which significantly enhances the longevity and durability of our pieces.

The Woven Hoops are hand formed out of Australian Recycled Sterling Silver using traditional Silversmithing methods with 4 microns thick 18ct Gold Vermeil.

Woven Hoops will vary slightly in size and shape to those photographed. No two hoops are ever the same, that's the beauty of handmade.
