Your Kit will be Shipped within 2-5 business days.
Once you have finished making your special pieces, please return them to us in the provided satchel and shipping box.
Once your kit is back at our studio, please allow 2-4 weeks for your keepsake to be handmade and sent back out to you.
Sterling Silver and 9ct Gold Jewellery may tarnish naturally over time but is easily cleaned. Dirt, makeup residue, and oil from your skin can build up on the surface of your Sterling Silver Jewels. Clean your Silver & Solid Gold Jewellery with a mild soap and water solution, allowing the water to foam up and then pat dry with a soft polishing cloth. Avoid wearing Sterling Silver in chlorinated water, hot springs or when working with household chemicals.
Vermeil is a term used to describe high-quality jewellery that features a thick layer of gold on top of a base metal, Sterling Silver. For jewellery to be classified as vermeil, the gold layer must be at least 2.5 microns thick. However, La Lune takes it a step further by ensuring a remarkable 4-micron thickness, which significantly enhances the longevity and durability of our pieces.
Remove your jewellery before you swim in chlorine or salt water.
Remove your jewellery before participating in activities that will cause you to sweat a lot.
Wait to put on your jewellery until after you have applied lotion, makeup or perfume.
Remove jewellery if you will be bringing it into contact with something hard. (For example, take off your ring before lifting weights).
Store your vermeil jewellery where it won’t rub against other hard substances

Create your own one-of-a-kind initial charm – shaped by your hands, cast in precious metal, and made to last a lifetime.
With The Letterform Kit, you become the designer. Using the soft wax provided, carve or shape an initial in your own style – whether it’s a bold capital, a delicate lowercase, or your own cursive flourish. We’ll take your handcrafted design and transform it into a beautiful charm, cast in your choice of recycled Sterling Silver, Gold Vermeil, or Solid 9ct Gold.

If you’d still love an initial charm but don’t want to shape it yourself, simply leave a note at checkout saying “PLEASE MAKE” and let us know if you’d like uppercase or lowercase.
We’ll create your charm for you, free of charge.

On its own - Add it to your existing chain (or you can select to have a jump ring with your charm so that you can add it to a bangle or bracelet. Jump ring is 5mm.)

On a 45cm or 50cm chain

How it works

Use the wax to mould your chosen letter in any style or font – anything goes.

Pop both waxes in the return envelope and send them back to our Gold Coast studio.

We’ll carefully cast your charm in precious metal, finishing it by hand to capture every detail.

Your charm will be returned to you ready to wear or gift – a forever keepsake you made yourself.

Production Time:
Once we receive your waxes, please allow 3–4 weeks for casting and hand-finishing.
Size can vary depending on you design and letter.
Once you place your order, we’ll send you The Letterform Kit – complete with wax (plus a backup), step-by-step instructions, a pre-paid return shipping label, and tips to guide your design.
When you’re happy with your letterform, simply post your wax moulds back to us using the pre-paid return satchel included.
Once your waxes arrive at our Gold Coast studio, we’ll begin the process of handcrafting your charm in your chosen metal. Please allow approximately 3–4 weeks from the time we receive your wax for your finished keepsake to be made and shipped.
