Eos Necklace - Gold Vermeil

The Eos Necklace is delicately handmade using recycled Australian metals and formed using traditional silversmithing techniques. Each piece is coated in a thick 4-micron layer of 18ct Gold Vermeil for a lasting, radiant finish.

Pendant size: approximately 1.3cm to 1.7cm wide x 1.7cm to 2cm long (including bail)

Inspired by the Greek goddess Eos, who rose into the sky from the river Oceanus each morning, casting light and parting the mists of night. This necklace captures that gentle yet powerful energy , a symbol of renewal, light, and strength.

Each pendant is one of a kind and will vary slightly in shape and size. That’s the beauty of handmade jewellery,  no two pieces will ever be the same.

Your jewellery will be handmade and shipped within 2-3 Weeks.

Vermeil is a term used to describe high-quality jewellery that features a thick layer of gold on top of a base metal, Sterling Silver. For jewellery to be classified as vermeil, the gold layer must be at least 2.5 microns thick. However, La Lune takes it a step further by ensuring a remarkable 4-micron thickness, which significantly enhances the longevity and durability of our pieces.

Remove your jewellery before you swim in chlorine or salt water.

Remove your jewellery before participating in activities that will cause you to sweat a lot.

Wait to put on your jewellery until after you have applied lotion, makeup or perfume.

Remove jewellery if you will be bringing it into contact with something hard. (For example, take off your ring before lifting weights).

Store your vermeil jewellery where it won’t rub against other hard surfaces.
